LADY LIBERTY

A Television special hosted by Kirk Douglas to celebrate the centenary of the statue of Liberty, a gift of the French people to the American people, to symbolize their friendship and their similar struggles for independence and democracy.   

Kirk Douglas and his wife Ann are visiting the various places in Paris where there are still different models of the statue originally crafted by Auguste Bartholdi and inaugurated in New York on Ellis Island in 1886.
